For road access, closures, permits, park rules, ferries, licensing, borders, and safety requirements, we prioritize the responsible government, road, park, or transport authority. Tourism sources may support route context but do not replace the authority responsible for a changing rule.
Changing conditions
Weather, wildfire, landslides, construction, snow, ferry operations, and emergency restrictions can make a static guide stale quickly. We link volatile guidance to an official source, show when it was last checked, and ask readers to verify it again close to departure.
Planning ranges
Distances and recommended days are orientation, not live navigation. Time ranges are deliberately conservative enough to include stops and time outside the vehicle. Travelers remain responsible for adapting a route to current conditions, ability, and local rules.
Images
Photography is selected to show the road and surrounding landscape honestly. Local project files are recorded in an image-source ledger with the creator, source, licence, retrieval date, destination, and subject. View the public image credits.
Commercial links
RoadTrip Guide currently publishes no product database, rental prices, booking inventory, or affiliate links. If commercial links are introduced later, they will be disclosed, verified for this project, and kept separate from the editorial basis for a route recommendation.
Corrections and scope
We do not claim firsthand travel unless it can be supported. As coverage grows, each route keeps one clear identity and address. We do not publish thin pages simply to increase the count.
